The Story Behind the Lady with an Ermine Print by Da Vinci

The portrait of a Lady with an Ermine print, painted by Leonardo Da Vinci around 1489-1491 was painted in oils on a panel of walnut wood. This masterpiece of Renaissance art is of Cecilia Gallerani, a mistress of Ludovico Sforza, the Duke of Milan. It is the second of only four surviving Renaissance portraits of women painted by Da Vinci, another being the legendary Mona Lisa. The Lady with an Ermine print is now proudly housed at the National Museum in Kraków in Poland. If you are looking for a high resolution Lady with an Ermine print then this will be a perfect addition to your space.
