The Story Behind The Adoration of Magi Print by Giotto

Created between 1304 to 1306, the Adoration of the Magi print was painted by the Florentine master Giotto. This Proto-Renaissance style is a prominent piece of religious painting and belongs to a series of seven showing the life of Christ. The Adoration of the Magi was a beautiful fresco in the Scrovegni Chapel in Padua, depicting the birth of Christ in Bethlehem with the three wise men or the Magi. Much of the fresco painting has been lost to the ravages of time, although today, the Scrovegni Chapel and the paintings which adorn it are being carefully conserved.
